Licensing, Copyright, Open Access and Repository Policy

1. Licensing and Copyright

Authors retain copyright without restrictions and grant the Journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 4.0 International License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work’s authorship and initial publication in this Journal.

2. Open Access

“Law. Journal of the Higher School of Economics” is an open access academic Journal. This allows for immediate free access without charge to the full text of each work published in the Journal and permits any user or his/her institution to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access. There is no embargo period. Users are not required to register in order to read content. Authors are provided with the author’s copy.

3. Repository Policy

Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the submitted version of the work, accepted version of the work (Author Accepted Manuscript) and published version of the work (Version of Record), e.g., post the version to an institutional repository or publish it in a book, with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this Journal and a citation for the published version
