AB  - In this article the author examines the nature of nonprofit organizations as subjects of Russian civil law. The author notes that the problems of non-profit organizations both at the legislative level and in the theory of civil rights are not neglected. We investigate a number of unsolved issues in this area. Critical analysis of the concept of development of civil law in parts of the proposed changes in respect to the status of non-profit organizations is given.
